ABD International and Chester County Welcomed Chinese Local Government Officials

On October 16 to 17, 2016, ABD International and Chester County welcomed a delegation of Chongqing Yongchuan District, the sister municipality of Chester County, led by Jun Li, deputy governor of the district.
The delegation was in Chester County for further engagement and collaboration of international business development and culture exchange between the two areas.
This is the fourth inter-government event arranged and co-hosted by ABD International, with the first and third ones also in Chester County in 2013 and 2015, and second one held in Chongqing, China in 2014.
Commissioner Terence Farrell, the Chairman of Chester County Commissioners, Michael Grigalonis, COO of County Economic Development Council (CCEDC), and Sue Cheng, President of ABD International worked together, planned and arranged the Visit. County Commissioner Michelle Kichline has also joined for welcoming the YongChuan delegation.
During the visit, a business and cultural exchanging discussion session was held at the CCEDC office. Michael Grigalonis of CCEDC introduced the latest economic development in Chester County to the delegates. The featured speaker, Dr. Kirk Williard, Director of Career, Technical and Customized Education of Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) gave a presentation on the structure and features of the CCIU. The two sides were very enthusiastic on working together on future collaborations. Dr. Lu Han, China CTO of the Bentley Company also joined session and introduced the company to the guests and discussed ways of potential cooperations with businesses in Yongchuan.
The delegation also visited the Mushroom Facilities at Kaolin Mushroom Farms/South Mill Mushroom Sales. Michael Pia, JR gave the delegates a tour of the facilities. There is a great potential for Yongchuan and the County to collaborate in Mushroom industry.
Governor Li invited Chester County Government officials and business leaders to visit Yongchuan next spring. Both sides are looking forward to discussing and reaching collaboration agreements at the spring visit.
